Resin Bound Aggregate provides a tough, easy to maintain and aesthetically pleasing surface that gives the appearance of natural gravel without the associated disadvantages. An existing base of either tarmac or concrete can be utilised if it is of a suitable condition. If required, Pavilion Paving can install a new base or carry out localised repairs if deemed necessary prior to installation enabling a cost and time efficient paving solution. Pavilion paving also offer a wide range of edging options to compliment your new resin bound aggregate surface. The system uses a two part resin mix which is combined with natural aggregate in a forced action mixer to completely bind together into a beautiful,seamless paving

After the changes to the permitted development rights planning laws in 2008, owners wishing to re surface gardens and driveways without planning consent must use a permeable paving solution such as our resin bound surface. This means you won’t have to apply for planning permission.Traditional type surfacing such as tarmac, block paving or concrete require planning consent if the area is over 5 Square Meters. This involves having scaled plans drawn up, a planning application fee and up to 8 weeks delay before a planning decision follows.resin bound surfaces require no planning consent.
